well ty, but i have no beliefs, at least concerning the past or the future, and “faith” is a verb to me rather than a noun. And just since you mentioned it, any credible evidence might persuade me to become convinced otherwise, i test everything
I can only offer creation and the Word of God as evidence. If you are willing to accept Jesus Christ as your savior, He will live in you through His Holy Spirit. The Spirit will confirm everything you need to reassure your spirit. Exercise your faith; test your faith; use your faith as a verb and place it in the One who died for you. If you cannot, or will not accept that, then there is nothing else I can offer you.

Well, that's the purpose of the Good News...to keep people from Hell. Remove Hell and there's no need for the Gospel.

You apparently don’t know the Bible very well. Scripture is very clear that for believers, to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord. Revelation 21 gives a detailed account of Heaven and those who will and will not dwell there.

So, despite the fact that “to be” was never written, youre just gonna tack it on there anyway?

you dont think thats maybe kinda dangerous?

although you gotta give Paul credit for the “confident” and “would rather be” parts, huh? yikes, even

The Bible tells us that wisdom is hidden from the wise; who are they?

Its hard (impossible) to caste yourself as the villain in a story, innit
When i realized that Legion was about believers, a lot fell into place after that

So a word for word translation would read: We are confident and willing rather absent from the body, and present with the Lord.

So yeah I’ll go with that. Funny you ignore the passage from Rev. 21 that describes Heaven despite your claim that it isn’t mentioned.

What?!?! Legion was the name assumed by the demons in the man from Gaderea. Nothing suggests Legion was believers. That claim is total fiction.

i love how he uses “we” there, kinda reminds me of the milk/meat passage where he makes eating the fruit from the tree of knowledge sound like a compliment lol

um, Rev 21 i would prefer to get into in a diff context tbh, but imo you cant just ignore the rest of the Bible, the parts that dont fit, in interpreting that. So let it be funny for now, fine with me
