True. I just think evil is almost nothing without suffering and death being involved. The problem of evil is such a big issue because of suffering and death.

Maybe I'm being too theoretical, but I'm thinking of a world where bad things happen all the time, just like here, but you never die and you can always heal. Would people complain about momentary evil in such a world? Although, even that doesn't really happen in this lifetime under the Christian worldview, but just to think it happens in a next life is a huge deal, imo. Whether the afterlife is real or not, this is why religious people tend to have a positive perspective/hope even in the face of death.
