Yes, I know medical care is better than it used to be. But all the same, I think it would be taking too big a chance.

I hope several centrist Democrats run for the 2024 nomination, and that best percolates up to the top of the pack.

Ditto. I'm actually worried that more Democrats and Republicans have not announced to run yet. Perhaps they don't want to be mixed up in the Trump drama on the Republican side. Perhaps Democrats don't want to challenge Biden since he's an incumbent president and he's planning to run again.

This Summer is a fine time to announce. And even deep into the Autumn months. For example, I think November is not too late.
