Hello people! I'm an agnostic. I hope to share my views about what I think about religion, spirituality, life etc. and have a conversation about it on these forums.

You can see my religious/spiritual journey on this link:

Welcome to the forum, Pinkbunion !

I read your post on the site you linked to. I gotta say that I'm glad you were able to document your journey. I usually write in a journal and I've come to believe that if you can't put an experience into words then you usually don't understand it.

I especially liked this part of your post...
Atheism helped me in several areas of my personality, but I was still yearning for spirituality. So, right now, I think I have decided that being open minded and balanced in my world view, instead of settling for one belief system, is better, and thus, I settled for Agnosticism. I still think I need some spirituality in my life, so Agnosticism allows that, but it doesn't restrict me to any one system, and allows me to explore new ideas and see how it affects me and others and how it feels.
Having an agnostic perspective is definitely good for exploring different beliefs. This forum is my best attempt at creating an environment that encourages some of the characteristics that agnostics tend to have, like open mindedness (I do allow Christians, atheists, skeptics, and all others to join in). Good luck on your journey!

I also think the same, that it would be immensely helpful if one would record their deconversion process from religion, conspiracy theories, or whatever they're converting from.

Right now, being agnostic is where I'm at, and those are some of the reasons that makes me one.

Thank you for the welcome!
How did you feel when you first deconverted from religion, compared to now?
When I deconverted at age 15, I wanted to disprove religion.

Now, at almost age 60, I realize that people believe a lot of different things, and a lot of times not all that seriously.

Right now, after almost 2 years of deconversion from religion and conspiracy theories, I'm still finding all about the real world and spirituality from different worldviews, even Atheism, and religions other than Christianity. As an agnostic, I'm always searching, and never settling for a fixed belief system.

For now, I also don't see myself settling for theism nor atheism. I see benefit to religion and secular values. Many atheists tend to give secularism more credit because it's "progressive", but some times the progressive side amounts to having a popular/political side. I'd only be interested in a secularism that is scientifically validated, or at least informed by science.
