Matthew 20:28 Even as the Son of man came not to be ministered unto, but to minister, and to give his life a ransom for many.
John 10:14-15 I am the good shepherd, and know my sheep, and am known of mine. As the Father knoweth me, even so know I the Father: and I lay down my life for the sheep.
That is simply a play on words. Please note both the meaning and origin of the word "Venerate" from the following website https://www.dictionary.com/browse/venerate
Also, please show where the Bible instructs anyone to venerate Mary. Where does the Bible state Mary remained a virgin and was sinless? Where does the Scripture teach anyone to pray or trust Mary? The truth is the Bible does not portray Mary the way the Catholic Church does. Everything they teach about Mary is fiction. So, if the Pope trusted Mary with his life, he did not enter Heaven.
Acts 4:10-12 Be it known unto you all, and to all the people of Israel, that by the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom ye crucified, whom God raised from the dead, even by him doth this man stand here before you whole. I think they do more than that, like in the part I highlighted above... In my view, that's attributing too much to Mary.
This is actually a common issue in Catholicism. Some Catholics tend to rosy up things too much. Sure, from a Christian standpoint, I can understand why Mary would be special seeing that she was chosen by God to give birth to God. But please don't add on all of this rose peddle overpraising stuff on top of that and then try to treat it like it's a doctrinal truth to be followed.

There is not a single verse in the Bible that teaches Mary is to be prayed to, worshipped or venerated. Interestingly, the following quotes are from the link you provided:

Believers are supposed to be devoted to Jesus Christ and Him alone. We are to look to Christ for protection, not Mary. If the Pope was devoted to Mary and looked to her for help instead of Christ, he busted the gates of Hell wide open when he died.

To claim all religions are paths to God indicates to me that Francis did not actually know the one true way to God...Jesus Christ. John 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.
No religion leads to God. It is a person who leads people to God, and that person is Jesus Christ. It is my belief that if Francis really knew Jesus as his personal Lord and Savior, he would not pray to or be devoted to Mary. Jesus would be his focus, and He was not. Francis may have been a good man and a good Catholic, but goodness won't get anyone into Heaven. I have yet to see evidence that Francis was really saved. Only God knows who are His, but there should be some evidence to testify of salvation.

That view is part of the Catholic Church's 'Marian dogmas'. I see it as nothing more as their tendency to want to sanctify and venerate everything and everyone in the religion. Granted, people like Mary, Angels, and certain artefacts can all be prominent in the history of Christianity, but no need to exaggerate on them, such as Mary remaining a virgin perhaps to show she was pure or holy in some way. Her husband Joseph was willing to put up with a sexless life...Gimme a break

Honestly, I think the Catholic Church is in some ways worse than other Christian denoms. I say this because open thought is not allowed as much. Historically (pre-Martin Luther), they left it up to the elites (those in power) to read Scripture and teach it to others. Thankfully now, all Christians can read the Bible and think for themselves.
