I just don't understand why it's been a problem for so long. Probably since Reagan's presidency. Just remove catch-and-release and that would at least take care of a lot of the problems that people really are against (the large influx of immigrants headed to the country through our Southern border, and then eventually released into the it). Otherwise, if people came in a orderly way, no matter how many, I don't think there would be as much fuss here.

idk if its bc of system by committee, or by way of providing busy work for more government, or what, tbh. Everyone seems quick enough to acknowledge that its broken, but no one seems to want to reform it
