but how is she on immigration and middle-class jobs! :p
I don't know much about her record on jobs unless you tie it to President's Biden's record since she served with him. President Biden did good with jobs, and I'm only going by low the unemployment numbers.

I'm definitely not a fan of Biden nor Kamla when it comes to immigration.

Vice President Harris was tasked with increasing business investment in Central America, as long-range planning to reduce immigration.

She was NOT tasked with being “border czar” or “czarina” as right-wing media like to say.

And was she successful on the investment? Yes, it did increase, but I’m guessing it was on the upswing anyway post-Covid and all.

This illustrates that it’s hard to get credit for long-term economic factors, as important as these are! :)

I agree with you based on my research that the vice president was not a border czar. Although, part of the confusion arises not just from Right wing media but also left-wing media that also referred to Kamala as a border czar, including Axios and CNN (scroll down to the Twitter or X video of CNN commentators). The difference now is that left-wing media are setting the record straight, and in some cases, acknowledging that they wrongly labelled her border czar while the right-wing media is sticking with the label so that they can use it against Kamala.

I admit to also falling into the confusion, and will judge her immigration standing based on past and current immigration policies that she supports.

Harris has narrowed down her VP pick to 6:
WASHINGTON (AP) — Vice President Kamala Harris is interviewing a half-dozen potential running mates this weekend ahead of a formal announcement and a battleground tour with her new No. 2 next week.

Her interview list includes Govs. Andy Beshear of Kentucky, J.B. Pritzker of Illinois, Josh Shapiro of Pennsylvania and Tim Walz of Minnesota, as well as Sen. Mark Kelly of Arizona and Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg, according to two people with knowledge of Harris’ selection process. The people were granted anonymity to discuss private campaign deliberations.

Shapiro and Kelly had been viewed as among the front-runners during her truncated selection process, which began with the vetting of about a dozen names.

Buttigieg is my least favorite on that list. My favorite picks would be between Kentucky Gov. Andy Behsear and PA Gov. Josh Shaprio. I thought she would've already had it narrowed down to these 2 by now.

Kamala Harris picked Minnesota Governor Tim Walz to be her running mate. I'm looking forward to get to know him more, although Kamala's policy positions would matter more. I honestly thought she was going to pick someone more moderate like the PA Gov. Sharpiro or the Kentucky Governor.
