I sometimes ask myself if the Gospel writers reported on Jesus's life accurately, or they did exaggerate on the details or even make it up completely? It's easy to believe that the Gospel writers were likely biased or engaged in spin. But then I also think that's true for all writers to some extent, some more than others.

For Discussion:
1. Are the gospels historically reliable?
2. Is there any logic or evidence to show why the Gospel writers wrote their gospels to begin with? Do those reasons take away from the validity of the gospels in any way? Completely or just to some degree?
3. Did the writers even intend to write history?
