So much for Muslims “taking over” the U.S. Meaning, the guy from my local sports bar was wrong, wrong, wrong. :) Sorry pal, but you were.

He had said, “Heck, we’re all going to be speaking Arabic in 10 years.”

I was too shocked to say anything. He’s a reasonable guy and a former military guy and paramedic.

I should have probably said— I’m too shocked to say anything. You’re a man of science and everything. . . What is your favorite talk radio, Brother ? ! ?

===========================

I read the chart as saying there were 3.48 million Muslims living in the U.S. in 2010, and there are going to be an estimated 10.35 million Muslims in the year 2050,

which will constitute 2.4 % of the total U.S. population.

Still an increase, but by no means huge, jarring, etc, etc.

Those are some interesting stats. I would've thought religion overall would've experienced a decline, especially among the younger generation. The kids that were dragged to Church by their parents and grandparents are now all grown, and I'm willing to bet they they're no longer attending Church anymore except for on Easter Sunday. I might be overstating that.
