Several hospitalized after Lufthansa flight diverted to Dulles airport due to turbulence

All this tech, plus more than a 100 years of flying, and this still catches us off guard? I suppose so. Life and nature is complicated.
PS This is something which might play a role in some UFO cases. Or, maybe a phenomenon of the Earth’s atmosphere somewhat similar to this.
