So, yeah, after June 2022, it looks like prices has basically leveled off.

A small uptick for Oct., and then a small downtick for Dec.

So, good news!

The CPI was 297.711 in November, and 296.797 in December.

So, U.S. consumer prices have actually come down a smidge!

Revisions show U.S. consumer prices a bit firmer than previously reported

U.S. monthly consumer prices rose in December instead of falling as previously estimated and data for the prior two months was also revised up, which some economists said raised the risk of higher inflation readings in the months ahead.

Okay, so the CPI bumped slightly upward in Dec. rather than slightly downward. I mean, we’re talking 1/10 of 1%. Or, the change from slightly down to slightly up is 2/10’s total.

It’s still a case of, please don’t panic. Steady as she goes.
