I've been questioning if there's any country taking in Palestinian refugees, esp. those that speak out the most against genocide occurring in Gaza. I searched online and found that both Egypt and Jordan have been very hesitant to take in refugees because they believe Israel is trying to push all Gazans out so they can take the land for themselves. While that is a valid concern, but I think leaving them there to die is not a good alternative either.
I question why not at least take in the most vulnerable on a temporary basis? Why not cut some deal with Israel that would be enforced by the UN, including the US, w/ to allow Palestinians to come back after a few months once Hamas has been taken out and have this enforced with military action if Israel does try to take over the land?
For Discussion
1. Are there any countries stepping up to take in Palestinian refugees?
2. Shouldn't the countries step up to take in refugees? Why or why not?
