There is already a place on the forum to find members, but this is a place to find a member's views on key issues. Each member will have their own thread which will be like an extension to their member profile. Each member (it's optional to participate in this section) will answer questions from a question pool provided in the next post. The responses will be brief so that you don't have to spend a lot of time reading just to get their position or view for a particular question or issue.

Guidelines:
1. Start a thread and title it "My responses" or something similar so that members know who and what the thread is for.
2. Start answering the questions. Your responses should not be more than a paragraph (7 sentences).
3.. Answer only the questions that are part of the question pool below. I'll leave it up to you to organize your thread, but in general, it should be clear to visitors which question your responses applies to. Best practice might be to post the questions or a topic in one post.
4.. Each member only gets one thread, and only the thread starter is allowed to post in their thread.
5. Members do not have to answer all of the questions in the pool. You can answer any question on the list and however many you want.

Threads that don't meet the above guidelines will be moved to the General Chat section.

Question pool. There will be up to 5 questions for each topic. The topics are politics, philosophy, religion, and science. These questions should be a good way for someone to get a well-rounded picture of your thinking and views on some of the most common issues that people want to know about. Members can offer suggestions and they will be voted on for inclusion.

Religion/Spirituality:
1. Who or what is God? (Atheists can answer in their own way, even if it's a response expressing skepticism).
2. Which is the one true religion?
3. Is Religion really necessary?
4. Do you believe in the afterlife?
5. Would a religious experience be enough to make you a believer or spiritual?
6. Was Jesus a real person or myth?

Philosophy:
1. What is your worldview (Christian, atheist, agnostic, neither??) and why?
2. Do objective morals exist?
3. Does free-will exist?
4. Is there a good hybrid theory drawing from both Immanuel Kant and John Stuart Mill?
5. Should Religion be subordinate to Philosophy?

Politics:
1. What is your political affiliation (Democrat, Republican, unaffiliated, other) and why?
2. Is separation of Church and State good or bad for America?
3. What is your position on people owning guns?
4. What is your position on abortion?
5. Is the Republican Party anti-rational of late?

Science:
1. What is the origin of the Universe?
2. Is consciousness a product of the brain or something greater or separate?
3. Does one accept the tenants of the Scientific Method such as observation, hypothesis, prediction, experimentation, and analysis?
