This is breaking news:

For those not familiar, congressman George Santos was elected this year to serve in the United States Congress. Election led to a lot of controversy as lies begin to emerge about his record. He claimed to be openly gay and that's been verified. He lied about being or performing as a drag queen. He's also lied about other things, some of which involved defrauding people..hence the federal charges.

Your reactions? Will House majority leader McCarthy expel him?

im guessing if he defrauded anyone he will prolly get expelled, but if he did then there should be a complaint somewhere that was more or less ignored?

If any complaint was ignored then it would likely be for political reasons. The more numbers the Republicans have then they less work that GOP leader McCarthy has to do to get enough votes to pass legislation. I think Republicans have only a 5 set majority in Congress.

This was a circus caused by the media:

From 0:00 to 05:00 is most of the circus. Starting at the 5:00 mark, George Santos gets tired of running and starts answering questions.

I brought up this story earlier this year. Congressmen George Santos was accused of lying about his record so that he could get votes in his state. He ended up winning but now there are several criminal investigations against him. Yet, the Republican led effort to expel him from the House just failed today:
A Republican-led resolution to expel embattled Rep. George Santos failed in the House on Wednesday night.

The push to try to oust Santos came from fellow GOP lawmakers in the New York delegation, who argue his past lies and embellishments about his personal history and his various legal entanglements make him unfit for office. Santos maintains his innocence after being indicted on a slew of federal charges.

The resolution needed a two-thirds majority to succeed, but fell well short. The final vote was 179 to 213 with 19 members voting present.

That reflects politics in my view, because had a Democrat done some of the things Santos is said to have done, they probably would've been expelled in a Republican controlled House.
