The Bridging Philosophy. An extension of Natural Philosophy.

My exploration into the essence of existence and consciousness, has led to the development of what I call a “Bridging Philosophy”.

It rejects the supernatural in favor of a conceptually tangible and eternal source—the “Universal Mind” (UM).

This Natural Philosophy dismisses supernaturalism, viewing the UM as the fundamental physical source that orchestrates all consciousness and organized matter. This philosophy embraces a purposeful universe and considers death a natural part of personality development, challenging traditional boundaries between physical and supposed “non-physical realms”.

Taking a naturalist stance while remaining agnostic in philosophical inquiries, this Natural Philosophy strives to bridge the gap between materialism and supernaturalism through open-minded exploration.

In response to the challenge of the hard problem of consciousness, the philosophy posits that consciousness is inherent to the Universal Mind, rejecting notions of a non-material mind.

This Natural Philosophy offers a comprehensive framework, challenging traditional views, promoting natural explanations, and inviting open-minded exploration into the interplay between the Universal Mind and individual experiences.

The Essence: Unveiling the Universal Mind (UM)

In recognizing that the term 'UM' might be perceived as mere jargon, it's essential to bridge the gap between its conceptual richness and accessibility. The challenge lies in our human tendency to operate within a narrow scope of perception, shaping how we interpret the vast complexities of the universe. The 'Universal Mind' (UM) within the Bridging-Natural Philosophy, despite its seemingly abstract label, is far from non-physical or supernatural. Instead, it is a nuanced concept grounded in the physical, existing within a spectrum of frequencies that elude our human senses.

The limitations of our perceptual scope don't render the UM non-physical but highlight the intricacies of our understanding. In its foundational state, the UM possesses attributes that resonate with the foundational qualities of the universe itself— imageless, a force uncaused, beginningless, changeless, timeless, spaceless, and enormously powerful.

Contrary to conventional notions of 'immaterial,' the UM, while as yet undetectable within our narrow frequency range, remains inherently physical, operating on a unique frequency signature which effects all subsequent frequencies involved with the organising of matter into functional forms.

The term 'imageless' underscores that the UM lacks any depictable form, challenging supernatural/mythological images humans have imagined.. Yet, it holds the profound ability to bridge and allow for the development of characteristics, making it the dynamic framework for understanding existence and consciousness within the Bridging-Natural Philosophy.

In essence, the “UM” (Universal Mind), though it may seem like yet another “jargon”, embodies a tangible and foundational concept—a physical frequency beyond our current detection abilities, resonating with and as the grandeur of the universe it orchestrates.

A Glimpse into a Holistic Worldview

At its core, this natural philosophy presents a holistic perspective on existence, consciousness, and the nature of reality. Rejecting both supernaturalism and materialism, it centers around the concept of the universal mind (UM) as the physical and eternal source of all consciousness and organized matter. This philosophy advocates for a naturalistic approach, explaining phenomena through natural causation, and offers a purposeful view of the universe in constant development. By challenging traditional boundaries between the physical and non-physical, this natural philosophy proposes a unified, material understanding.

In essence, this natural philosophy provides a comprehensive framework that fosters open-minded exploration into the mysteries of the cosmos.

From Ancient Pioneers to Contemporary Synthesis.

This natural philosophy has deep historical roots, tracing back to the philosophical inquiries of ancient thinkers like Aristotle and Pythagoras. During the Renaissance, figures such as Galileo and Kepler ushered in an era of empirical exploration, laying the groundwork for what would become distinct scientific disciplines.

In the 17th century, the term 'Natural Philosophy' began to yield to specialization, giving rise to disciplines like physics, chemistry, and biology. Newtonian physics, with its emphasis on empirical rigor, exemplified this transformative shift.

As the 18th and 19th centuries saw the further crystallization of scientific disciplines, the term 'Natural Philosophy' experienced a modern resurgence in recent times. Today, it signifies an interdisciplinary approach, acknowledging the interconnectedness of scientific phenomena.
