Yeah I personally think those people were charlatans. If they really had the gift of healing why weren’t they at St. Jude healing all those children with cancer?
Yes, that's a very good point. That would also put a lot of doctors out of business so that's a negative economic effect. But the good of such a miracle would definitely outweigh the negatives. It would prove that a lot of these miracle claims by Christians aren't staged since that's hard to make that accusation when it happens at a large scale, esp. with children involved. And it would show that more than just luck or coincidence is involved if the miracle worker is able to do it again at a different cancer center.
