I'd have to look more into that. I think that it is very easy and even tempting to think that the writers of the Gospels could've wrote whatever they wanted - could've exaggerated, colored in the details, lied in some cases, all done to prop up their favorite religious figure/religion...

I would have thought that would be a problem for Christianity since a guy close to God is wrong in his belief. I'm guessing you don't see it as a problem. Which passage(s) stands out to you regarding Paul's belief?

Let's explore this more. So we have two guys that God sends to the world and they are referred to as "witnesses" in Revelations chapter 11. I'm asking myself how would we know if these guys should be taken seriously as opposed to some fraudsters? Or maybe some will take them seriously but...

We will have to wait until that happens then, but at least the prophecy is specific enough to be verifiable. Other times, prophecies are some times vague and can be interpreted many ways to make it fit whatever scenario. Here's some interesting information about who the two witnesses might be...

The Bible actually offers a good solution for that. No one should have kids with someone unless both partners are married to each other or are in a serious commitment. Too many people are having kids with people that they have little to no commitment with.
