I must say that I view prophecy or visions of the future as being the coolest spiritual gift that the Bible talks about.

Well meet Prophet Brandon Biggs who seems to have predicted the attempted assassination on Trump and the bullet hitting his ear.

An Oklahoma man predicted the attempted assassination of Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump in eerie detail
a month ago, claiming it came to him in a vision from God.

In a video of a podcast posted to YouTube on March 14, Brandon Dale Biggs said Trump would be targeted — and that a bullet would fly by his ear.

“I saw Trump, rising up, and then I saw an attempt on his life,” Biggs told Pastor Steve Cioccolanti, who hosted the taping.

“This bullet flew by his ear, and it came so close to his head that it busted his eardrum,” Biggs continued, adding the vision came to him a few weeks before the taping.

Trump was shot in his right ear on July 13 during a campaign stop in Butler, Pa.

“The Lord told me, he said, ‘I am not done with America,'” Biggs said, who further foreshadowed “a new wave of patriotism coming out” leading to “a red wave coming out of Michigan.”

He then saw people carrying flaming torches through Oklahoma, and “bringing forth a new patriotism upon this nation. … It was being birthed and it just kept spreading, like fire.”

Biggs said God showed him Trump winning in November, and that Jesus’ return was imminent.

Here's a YouTube video timestamped 4 months ago of Brandon Briggs making this prophecy...
(relevant details are at the minute mark 10:30 to 11:25).

What gets me is the specificity, i.e., the information about the bullet passing by Trump's ear - that's an eerily close detail.

For Discussion:
1. What's your view and reaction to this prophecy? Do you think it's real or just a coincidence?
2. Anyone here familiar with the person giving these details, Brandon Biggs? I never heard of him.

I will share one analysis in post #2.

Here's an analysis of Brandon Biggs' prophecy.

There's some skepticism because Trump's eardrum did not burst as Brandon predicted. But here's one fascinating explanation that Brandon offers:
Basically, some prophets add details to (perhaps by inferring or assuming details) or take away details (perhaps from not remembering the full details?) from a future vision that they have. I wish this could be tested but it does seem like reasonable how someone could make this error.

What do you think about that explanation and does it cover for why there are errors in prophecies?

Do you think it's real or just a coincidence?
BAsed on the analysis of this speaker (starting at the 22:00 minute mark), Prophet Biggs may've just gotten lucky the part about Trump getting shot in the ear. The host says that Biggs has been wrong on other predictions, and all it takes is just one wrong prediction to show that someone is not getting their information from a perfect being, such as God.

I would be undecided about this prophecy but there was one detail that was eerily close to what ended up happening regarding the bullet flying passed Trump's ear. I can accept the point from Brandon Biggs about him misinterpreting some details. I believe it's possible that he had a vision but then interpreted it wrong by making an inference from seeing blood on the president's ear. However, I do have a Christian friend that believes that a misinterpreted prophecy is still a wrong prophecy; in other words, a valid prophecy to him does not only involve the vision itself being valid but also the messenger being correct in their details as well.

I also agree with the analysis from post #3 regarding Brandon Biggs previous predictions being wrong at times. I think a true prophet of God would have 100% track record of accuracy. Perhaps Biggs is getting his visions from elsewhere? Some natural ability or something else?

Remember, I posted about this self-proclaimed prophet a few months ago:

Well, at least 2 of his predictions have come to pass - Trump's ear getting hit with bullet and Trump winning. But what I want to discuss is if this was luck, could it have been deduced? Or can it be explained as anything other than a prophecy?
