What stories or headlines (religious, political, scientific) are you tracking?

1. Biden pardons his son. - CNN
2. Bitcoin is close to reaching $100k in price - CNBC
3. Australia bans social media for teens under 16 - AP
4. So much talk about the Democrat party losing to Trump. There's lots of analysis on this and I've been tracking a lot of it to get an understanding.

Any recent good debates or talks on religion? Looking but still finding a bunch of old stuff.

Feel anything I'm tracking or that you're tracking as a topic.

Tik Tok is locked up. WTH...

I get this message when i visit the site..

"Sorry, TikTok isn't available right now"

Wow, can you imagine all the videos that people have stored on Tik Tok that they now can't access?
ALthough you can use a VPN that masks your IP address and make your location appear as being in another country. So there is some work around.

Trump's first day at the office and signs 78 executive orders...

Here's some of what the executive actions involve...
  1. Regulatory freeze: The freeze will prevent bureaucrats from issuing any more regulations until the Trump officials take full control of the government.
  2. Hiring freeze: There will be a freeze on federal hiring, except the military and a number of other categories, until Trump officials are in full control.
  3. Full-time return to work: Federal workers will be required to return to full-time in-person work immediately.
  4. Cost of living: A directive to every federal agency and department to address the cost of living crisis.
  5. Withdrawal from Paris Climate Agreement: This will formalize the US pulling out of the Paris Climate Agreement again. Trump has done this in his first term, but Biden had joined the agreement again. Trump also signed a letter to the United Nations, explaining the withdrawal.
  6. Freedom of speech: Federal government was directed to restore freedom of speech and preventing government censorship of free speech. The First Amendment already guarantees free speech in the US.
  7. Ending weaponization of government: Trump’s directive to the federal government is meant to end weaponization of government against the political adversaries of the previous administration
I was looking for one involving mass deportation since that's what the news has been focusing on recently.

Just in...Trump pardons over 1,000 people Jan. 6 rioters, including some of the Proud Boys.
