The diaspora of Jews began returning back to Israel starting in the late 19th century and into the 20th century. In 1948, the state of Israel was established. 1. Is the modern state of Israel a fulfillment of Ezekiel's prophecy?
2. If it is, why isn't this the number 1 piece of tangible evidence for the divine inspiration of the Bible or for biblical prophecy, at least? Are there strong skeptical points to this prophecy that causes doubt?
