This is good news. The 2 parties are supposed to bracket public opinion.

If we add “very responsible” and “somewhat responsible,” 54% of all voters say big companies with little competition are responsible for inflation.

and 63% of Democrats,

and 47% of Republicans.

And I’d say, this is about the way it should be. :)

And — 🌙 ⭕✨ 😅

I embrace the complexity ! ! !

More “Big Pharma” companies than I thought there would be. But we can still very much ask, Why is something like insulin — which has been around for a 100 years for crying out loud! — so #%!& expensive ! ? !

I’m going to try to pull a technical definition of an oligopoly.

“An oligopoly is a market structure where a few large firms dominate the market.”

————————————————-

I think this is a good straight-forward definition.
You can count me in the percentage that says that big firms are account for "some" of the inflation. I was about to say that I hate monopolies, but maybe it might be better to say that I hate 'oligopolies'.

I’m willing to give both Trump and Biden some credit. :)
I don't see how any party will be able to fix the problem of increasing prices, especially in big population states, like California, New York, Florida, etc.
