I've been keeping up with reports about the assassination attempt in Trump. One type of view that I see increasing is conspiracy theories. I've heard theories ranging from the whole incident being staged by Trump to it being an inside job.
For the record I don't accept any of them unless there is good evidence, but at the same time I could see why conspiracy theories are popping up given the lack of transparency by the head of the Secret Service and other preexisting trust issues with the government.
One conspiracy theorist suggested that Trump needs to be alert about everything from what he eats to the staff that are checking his blood pressure - as of this is some John Wick movie where everyone is potentially out for him. I personally couldn't live like that.
What are your thoughts on the conspiracy theories on this incident? Any validity? Do you think there is some government conspiracy but we may not know what it is?
