I think that's lacking now because the Left has most of the mainstream television news stations.
I don’t agree with this.
NBC news, as opposed to MSNBC, is boring, middle-of-the-road, plain vanilla, etc. About what you want for a news show. For example, Saturday 5:30 pm Central time, the stories were —
• manhunt for guy who killed health insurance CEO in New York City,
• Notre Dame cathedral re-opened with several world leaders attended,
• short summary of interview of President-elect Trump by NBC reporter. I think mentioned that Trump confident he can end war in Ukraine. In response to question of whether Ukraine would have make do with fewer American weapons, Trump answered possibly.
President Trump asked about his nominee to head Department of Defense - Pete Hegseth. NBC mentioned that it’s claimed Hegseth has a drinking problem and that he settled sexual assault allegation out of court. But did not mention that he has little or no experience running large organizations.
Yes, this interview summary was more to promote interview later to be shown on NBC.
• armed rebels in Syria getting close to capital city Damascus
The family of Austin Tice, a journalist kidnapped 12 years ago in Syria, says they’ve received info from a good source that he’s still alive.
Sometimes it helps to focus on a single person. It reminds you that everyone swept up in something has life, plans, probably loved ones. Whether rich or poor, whether Protestant, Catholic, Muslim, or Buddhist, every human person is important.
And if he’s still alive, what’s probably kept him going is the hope of coming home.
• manhunt in I think
Arizona California for convicted murderer who escaped
• various drones in New Jersey which are unidentified, some the size of a small car. Drones were also somewhere in western U.S. at meeting of high-ranking military officials including current Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin
• news ended with a couple of feel good stories.
